Following an extensive renovation by renowned interior designer Jean Pierre Martel, Marbella Club’s legendary Champagne Room reopened its doors in October 2011. The design, service and fine selection of champagnes bring back to life the vibrant history of this bar which played host to some of the world’s most important celebrities.
Sommelier Ángel González wanted to create a menu which contained the best selection of champagnes in Andalucia. With this in mind, he had three main objectives; to have a large selection of champagnes available by the glass, a wide choice of vintage champagnes, and to include both the small specialist growers and the leading champagne houses. There are 65 producers represented, including Pol Roger, Krug, Marguet, Salon, Dom Perignon and Cristal.
The champagne can be enjoyed with a selection of tasty bites created and prepared by Chef Juan Galvez, such as White Shrimp Tartare with Avocado Mousse, Lobster Sashimi, Foie–Gras, Blinis with Caviar and Mini Beef Hamburgers.
On Thursday and Saturday evenings a jazz trio offers live music around the Grand Piano and there will be special events throughout the year. During the colder months the open fire and comfortable sofas makes it a great location for cozy winter evenings.
The Champagne Room is open from 5pm to 1am daily.
