AT HOME IN ANDALUSIA
With the current climate creating an increasingly flexible approach to working, schooling, and how many of us choose to holiday as we enter our ‘new normal’, iconic beachfront resort Marbella Club will launch a tempting ‘At Home in Andalusia’ programme, for those in search of an extended escape. With complimentary wellness offerings, creative children’s activities, and access to a fully equipped remote office space, the programme promises guests staying at the resort for 30-plus days everything they’ll need to stay connected, whilst easing into the laidback Mediterranean lifestyle.
Situated in the heart of Andalusia’s iconic ‘Golden Mile’, the Marbella Club combines its original, old-world Fifties glamour with modern-bohemian charm. Inimitable heart and soul, a lively spirit and breathtaking beachfront location make it the ideal location for an extended escape, with a team of attentive staff on hand to ensure guests transition seamlessly into their new home-away-from-home.
Paradise, with perks
An array of exclusive benefits await guests on the At Home in Andalusia programme, including a 10% discount on all hotel services and the option to purchase special credits to spend at the Marbella Club’s seven restaurants, extensive Thalasso spa and Kids Club. Daily complimentary use of bikes ensures easy exploration of the hotel grounds, which is designed to resemble an open-air Andalusian village, and its spectacular sub-tropical gardens. Extended room service menus allow guests who want an extra level of privacy to order from any of the on-site restaurants, whilst those staying in one of the Marbella Club’s exquisitely-equipped Villas can arrange private cooking demonstrations and sumptuous suppers prepared by one of the Marbella Club’s talented chefs. Four-legged members of the family can even join the fun with small pets accepted at a daily fee. Guests will have 24/7 access to the hotel’s resident medical services, including PCR tests, and with Andalusia offering all non-resident international travellers free Covid insurance for the duration of 2021, Covid concerns can be well and truly left at the door.
New bespoke wellness offerings
Championing a progressive approach to wellness that prioritises slow and mindful living, guests will have complimentary access to daily group wellness activities, including yoga, Pilates, meditation and Tibetan bowl singing. In addition to the hotel’s extensive spa menu, At Home in Andalusia guests will have exclusive access to express 30-minute spa treatments and personal training sessions, and private consultations with the hotel’s resident nutritionist to create bespoke menus for the duration of their stay.
A family affair
A healthy family work/life balance is key, so guests travelling with little ones in tow will receive special rates when accessing Marbella Club’s unrivalled Kids Club. An enchanting 5,000 square metre utopia for children, the converted farmhouse and spacious sub-tropical gardens provide a wholesome wonderland in which children can get creative and connect with nature. Activities range from gardening, flamenco-yoga and art-upcycling to gazpacho-making and Spanish lessons, ensuring productive time apart for both children and parents. At an additional cost, the hotel can arrange full-day private childcare, baby listening and babysitting services.
Work-life balance: sorted
In response to the rise in global flexible working conditions (and the resultant rise in ‘workations’), the Marbella Club will have a number of remote offices available. Guests residing in one of the hotel’s spacious suites can book office space on an hourly or daily rate, whilst villa guests will receive 20 complimentary hours of office use. Individual work-pods will be set up with a desk, comfy chair, lashings of natural light and plenty of space. The Marbella Club’s considerate wellness team will be on hand to ensure an ergonomic working set-up, adjusting screen and chair heights to the optimal position, while a special brainfood menu designed by the Marbella Club’s wellness chef, Andrés Ruiz will be on offer, including desk-side smoothies, snacks and lunches, starring concentration-boosting ingredients such as cacao, dates, blue fish and quinoa. Guaranteeing a fuss-free tech transition, the hotel’s resident IT expert will swiftly coordinate WiFi, phone and printer connections.
