Marbella Club

Founded by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe in 1954, what began as a rustic finca along the Golden Mile has gently evolved over the decades into the Marbella Club: a storied retreat where 114 rooms and 16 secluded villas still echo the relaxed sophistication of Andalusia, where pine groves provide a tranquil refuge from the Mediterranean sun, the scent of botanicals linger in the air, and bougainvillea spills over whitewashed walls.

A place loved by all, the Marbella Club is a gathering place for friends, artists, and adventurers — where time slows and life unfolds with a hint of elegance and ease. Today, the resort welcomes a new generation of travellers, balancing heritage with modern sensibilities. The 5,000-square-metre Kids Club — among the most celebrated in Europe —  makes it a haven for families, while eight restaurants and bars lend a convivial rhythm to long, sun-soaked days.

For those seeking renewal, the seafront Thalasso Spa and serene Holistic Studio offer grounding therapies and integrative practices in the heart of the resort’s botanical gardens, now extending to Finca Ana María, a garden gateway to the original essence of Marbella. Whether drawn by wellness, connection, or simply the beauty of the setting, guests find a space that continues to evolve — yet never strays far from its original spirit.

Kids Club

Our Kids Club offers year-round entertainment with supervised activities — from sports, gardening and nature-based experiences to science experiments, open-air play, and projects that connect our little explorers with local biodiversity in the Seahorse Hotel. Open throughout the year, the Kids Club welcomes both resort guests and non-resident children.

The terrace of El Patio restaurant at the Marbella Club

El Patio

All-day dining in our convivial courtyard

Tucked between agapanthus and jasmine, El Patio carries the easy charm of 1950s California while drawing on the vibrant flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean. A favourite among Marbella locals and long-time guests, it’s a place for relaxed aperitifs, unhurried lunches or gentle evenings with friends — always made for sharing.

The Grill

A sense of old-world magic

Our master of the grill has followed in the footsteps of his father Roque, offering time-tested recipes brought to life over a crackling fire. Legendary silver service, the twinkle of decades-old candles on the outdoor terrace, and the stir of the soaring pines — a true taste of tradition.

MC Beach

The essence of summer

MC Beach takes a cue from Málaga’s traditional chiringuitos — laid-back fish and seafood restaurants right on the beach. In breezy blues and whites, sardinas al espeto, salt-baked sea bass and paella share the table with the sound of the waves, just steps from the water, capturing the easy spirit of seaside living from sunlit lunches to golden sunsets.

Beach Club

The place to be seen

Our sun-splashed Beach Club takes its joyful look from the historic ‘palapa’ roof and is reminiscent of 1950s Acapulco, once the playground for the world’s elite and our very own Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe. In tropical greens and vibrant corals, fish and seafood with a Mexican twist — from vibrant ceviche to the Raw Bar — are enjoyed in reimagined al fresco spaces across the lounge, bar and pool, a laid-back setting to while away the day.

The Garden Pool

Fresh, laid-back, in the heart of the hotel

Tucked into one of the sunniest corners of the hotel, the Garden Pool brings together easygoing poolside living with fresh Mediterranean flavours. Think garden salads, grilled fish, colourful bowls and a few family favourites — simple dishes to share, often turning into leisurely lunches. Whether you’ve just stepped out of the water or dropped by for the food, this is the spot for a laid-back bite under the sun.

Rudi's

Rudi’s is the heart of the Marbella Club’s sociable spirit. Champagne or a cocktail to start, tapas to share, a round of backgammon, and a drink by the fire as live music drifts through this timeless Bohemian lounge named for our cherished Count.

Summer Bar

Pre-dinner drinks among citrus trees

To the tinkle of the piano and the sounds of nightly live music, summer evenings unfold — or drift late into the night — in the jasmine-scented orange grove of the Summer Bar, where open-air nights, cocktails and tapas have inspired countless stories over the years.

El Olivar by Chef Andrés

From farm to table

At El Olivar, Chef Andrés Ruiz lets the garden lead the way, creating each day’s menu around what’s growing at Finca Ana María — just steps from the kitchen. Set beside the adults-only pool, the restaurant sits within the finca itself, surrounded by more than 300 seasonal varieties that shape its plant-led offering. The result is a daily-changing selection of vibrant, nourishing dishes — rooted in the land, guided by the season and prepared with care and creativity.

Wellness

Our wellness offering is designed to help guests feel their best and embrace a healthy, balanced lifestyle through spa, nutrition, fitness and wellbeing — our four guiding pillars.
We are inspired by the concept of wholeness: a way of flowing through life with intention and ease. Rooted in an ancient Chinese principle, it gently encourages balance between relaxation and action — a renewed approach to wellbeing that nurtures deep serenity and a revitalised, more vibrant sense of energy.
Whether it’s a mindful walk around Finca Ana María, a mountain-view meditation facing La Concha, a sunset swim in the sea or a holistic experience with one of our visiting practitioners, wholeness is about finding balance and feeling grounded—every day.

Holistic Studio

A serene and intimate space, our Holistic Studio invites guests to explore integrative practices that bring body and mind into harmony. From Tibetan bowl meditations and cacao ceremonies to aura readings and iridology, each session offers a gentle moment to reconnect, reset and realign — in your own way.

Thalasso Spa

With 800 sq m of light-filled space overlooking the Mediterranean, the Thalasso Spa is built around the healing power of seawater. A dynamic pool, osmanic steam baths, saunas and 11 treatment rooms provide the setting for a wide range of Thalasso and beauty treatments, along with personalised programmes focused on rest, wellbeing, detox or gentle renewal.

Herbal Spa at Finca Ana María

At the heart of Finca Ana María, this botanical sanctuary offers rituals rooted in the garden itself. Plants, flowers and aromatic herbs from the finca become gentle remedies for body and mind — an invitation to self-care and a deeper connection with the natural world.

Ice Bathing & Sauna Cabin

A revitalising experience for two, immersed in the nature of Finca Ana María.  The contrast of sauna and cold plunge supports detox and circulation, followed by a foot ritual or a head and neck massage with garden-sourced oils — all with serene views of the Mediterranean and La Concha mountain.

Pádel

Pádel found its first European home at the Marbella Club, a sport that has been part of our story since the 1970s. Today, the Prince Alfonso Pádel Court keeps that legacy alive, framed by mature gardens and dappled shade — a place for matches with family, games with friends or a private lesson with one of our expert instructors beneath the soft Marbella sun.

Gym

Fully equipped with the latest Technogym machines, free weights and TRX equipment, the gym also offers access to experienced personal trainers, as well as pilates and yoga instructors, available on request.

Golf

Just a 20-minute drive from the hotel, the Marbella Club Golf Resort was designed by Dave Thomas and offers far-reaching views over Gibraltar, the African coastline and the Mediterranean Sea. A daily shuttle is available for guests.

Equestrian Centre

Horse riding, scenic treks, dressage lessons and competition-level training are available at the Marbella Club Equestrian Centre, just 20 minutes away in the rural, rugged surroundings of Benahavís. Guests are welcome to visit the stables—home to Arabian, Spanish, German and French horses—before heading out on mountain trails through pine forests, suited to all levels.

Beauty Studio

From glow-boosting facials by Dr. Barbara Sturm and Votary to hair treatments by Miriam Quevedo and expert manicure and pedicure services, the Beauty Studio is a true sanctuary at the heart of the hotel. A place to switch off and be pampered, surrounded by the lush gardens of El Patio and hand-painted walls that invite you to linger just a little longer.

Finca Ana María

Once the home of the von Bismarck family, friends of the Hohenlohes, Finca Ana María is today a natural extension of the Marbella Club gardens for resident guests. Spanning 50,000 sq m, it is conceived as a place to preserve biodiversity, connect with nature and experience wellbeing in all its forms.

In collaboration with Louis Albert de Broglie and the French institution Deyrolle, this five-year “ephemeral” project is creating diverse spaces that together form a thriving ecosystem, from a Cabinet of Curiosities and an acacia maze to a storytelling tree and herb gardens with more than 300 varieties of fruits and vegetables.

Part botanical haven, part space for discovery, Finca Ana María brings together nature, gastronomy, wellbeing and family experiences — a living landscape where every path invites curiosity and every season brings something new to explore.
