Summer Happenings 2026 | A Season of Culture, Craft and Coastal Living

Summer Collaborations and Creative Encounters
For the first time in Spain, the Johanna Ortiz Caravan arrives at the Marbella Club, bringing the Colombian designer's travelling boutique to Plaza El Olivar following residencies in St Tropez, Comporta, the Hamptons, Los Angeles, Texas and Palm Beach. Inspired by the spirit of travel, the boutique presents a curated edit of the latest collection while embracing the philosophy of Despacio sabe mejor, encouraging guests to slow down and savour the season.

The resort also welcomes Parisian Maisons d’art Goosens and Maison Michel, coming together for the first time in a charming shared boutique inspired by the effortless spirit of Mediterranean living. Created especially for the occasion, Maison Michel’s four exclusive headpieces are crafted in braided straw and crochet, in sun-drenched shades inspired by Andalusian orange groves and long days by the sea. Goossens, meanwhile, pays playful tribute to Marbella’s iconic Plaza de los Naranjos with a citrus-inspired capsule collection, featuring an orange-shaped minaudière, delicate orange-blossom motifs and luminous orange quartz. Alongside the latest jewellery and millinery collections, the space showcases a carefully curated selection of furniture, rugs and decorative objects, many crafted by local artisans, creating a dialogue between Parisian savoir-faire and Andalusian craftsmanship.

Further expanding the Marbella Club's design offering, Molteni&C opens its newest flagship store at the resort, bringing the Italian design house's contemporary furniture collections to the Costa del Sol and reinforcing the hotel's long-standing commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design.

Completing the line-up, the Marbella Club renews its partnership with Love Brand & Co. for a third exclusive swimwear collaboration for men and boys. Inspired by the hotel’s ongoing work with Aula del Mar Mediterráneo, the new Seahorse print reflects both brands’ shared commitment to sustainability through the use of natural and recycled fabrics. Younger guests can discover the story behind the design at the Seahorse Hotel in the Kids Club, while local conservation projects are supported through the Malaga Province Environment Foundation (MPEF), of which the Marbella Club is a founding member.

A Taste of Veracruz – Lucho Martínez’s Secret Garden Pop-Up
Another highlight of the summer calendar comes from 15 July to 15 August, when Mexican Chef Lucho Martínez, owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Em, brings his exclusive dining experience to the Marbella Club. Inspired by his acclaimed seafood restaurant Ultramarinos Demar, Martínez presents a six-course menu celebrating the coastal flavours of Veracruz through contemporary Mexican cooking and seasonal ingredients sourced from Finca Ana María. Served in a secluded garden setting and available exclusively to hotel guests, the collaboration offers an intimate expression of summer dining that brings together the culinary traditions of Mexico and southern Spain.

Luminaries in Bloom
The focus on wellbeing runs throughout the summer, anchored by the Marbella Club’s year-long programme Luminaries in Bloom, which welcomes internationally recognised practitioners whose work reflects the hotel’s holistic approach to restoration and balance. From July to September, energy practitioner Coco Maruno returns to the resort with a series of sessions centred on energetic alignment and restorative practices that encourage clarity and renewal. The programme continues in August with Pablo Olabe, whose treatments combine underwater massage and advanced mobilisation techniques to release physical tension and deepen the connection between body and mind, running from 7th–16th August.

Family and Nature – Garden of Life
That same spirit of reconnection extends to the resort’s multigenerational family programme, with a wide range of activities taking place across both the Kids Club and Finca Ana María. New this summer, Garden of Life: The House of Pollinators invites guests of all ages to explore the essential role pollinators play within the natural world. Through hands-on activities, guests discover how bees, butterflies and other species help ecosystems flourish, while gaining a deeper understanding of biodiversity and environmental care.

Cinema Nights at Finca Ana María
Cinema Nights return to Finca Ana María with a seasonal programme of open-air screenings celebrating nature, ecology and environmental regeneration. The programme includes Fantastic Fungi by Louie Schwartzberg, The Serengeti Rules by Nicolas Brown, The Salt of the Earth by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado, Wilding by David Allen, Blue Carbon by Nicolas Brown and Moving Art by Louie Schwartzberg. Set beneath the stars, the screenings invite guests to reflect on the relationship between people and the natural world through a carefully curated selection of films and documentaries.

Looking Ahead
As summer unfolds, the Marbella Club's seasonal programme continues with the autumn edition of SustainTable on 5 September, welcoming Michelin-recognised chef Borja Marrero for a four-hands collaboration celebrating the changing harvest at Finca Ana María. The season will also see the return of Music Fills the Finca, an intimate open-air flamenco concert in partnership with the Cristina Heeren Foundation, followed by the Wine Harvest Festival on 17 October, celebrating the traditions of the vendimia through tastings, workshops and grape stomping.
